What does TSKF stand for ?
TSKF, Traditional Shotokan Karate-do Federation. was founded by Takahashi Shunsuke Shihan, 9th dan. He has consistently overseen all of his New Zealand and Australian Dojos for the past 40 years, traveling from Japan to direct seminars and take gradings, producing solid foundations and skilled Dojo Heads that we have the privilege of training under today, including Shihan Mark Willis, 8th dan, who currently is the Chief Instructor of New Zealand and Australia. Shihan Mark takes all gradings and seminars for the New Zealand Federation including Raglan Dojo.
What does ISKF stand for ?
ISKF, International Shotokan Karate-do Federation. As a member of TSKF, we are also affiliated to ISKF.
What is the Kyu grade order (belts) ?

What is a do-gi ?
It is the white traditional uniform worn in the dojo as a karate-ka (student). This can be purchased through the dojo.
How long is the training session ?
1h30. Younger karate-ka can leave after an hour of training. Or stay along.
What defines a family for the Family Training fee?
A family is defined by those who live as a family in the same household.
